Two games are usually circled on the calendar more than any other for the Philadelphia Eagles: both Dallas Cowboys showdowns.
Eagles reporter Ryan Fowler shared one of the matchups against the Eagles and Cowboys, as Philly will host Dallas in Week 7 on Monday Night Football. Last year, the Eagles and Cowboys split the series, with Philly winning the Week 1 matchup 24-20, but the Cowboys got their revenge, storming back from 21 points down to beat the Eagles 24-21.
Over the years, this has become one of the fiercest rivalries in the NFL, as the Eagles and Cowboys compete for the NFC East division title year after year. Even if one of the teams is not great, this game is always a tough one to play in.
Philly and Dallas are ready to face off in Week 7 on Monday Night Football
It's not known whether this is the first or second matchup, but the Eagles are looking for revenge after last year's loss to Dallas. Things ended on a bad note for Philly when these two teams last played, as they blew a 21-point lead and lost safety Andrew Mukuba for the season to a lower-leg injury.
This is a great time for the Eagles to play the Cowboys, though, as it will at least be a home game for an important Monday night game. Also, it helps that former Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman will be in the broadcast booth, hopefully to watch his former team lose.

With the New York Giants and Washington Commanders improving this offseason, the NFC East is only going to get tougher, so winning these division games makes or breaks a season. The Eagles understand that better than anyone after winning the division two years in a row, so they have to get a win at home when the Cowboys are in town.
