There is a lot of uncertainty around the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason, as the team tries to determine whether certain players will be on the roster.
The two biggest names are right tackle Lane Johnson and left guard Landon Dickerson, as both are contemplating retirement from the NFL after injuries in 2025. One other name to keep an eye on is defensive lineman Brandon Graham.
On his podcast, Unblocked, Graham discussed his potential future with the Eagles and what that might look like. He certainly wasn't shy about waiting for one thing.
"If Howie (Roseman) makes that call, I’m coming back, one more."
Brandon Graham wants to come back to Eagles in 2026
This is a much different tone from last offseason when the Eagles fan base grieved over Graham's retirement from the NFL. That retirement didn't last long, as he shockingly returned in the middle of the season to help the Eagles navigate issues on the line after Za'Darius Smith retired and Nolan Smith Jr. and Azeez Ojulari suffered injuries.
It took Graham time to get back into the groove of playing football, but he came up big against the Las Vegas Raiders and in the first Washington Commanders showdown, recording three sacks in back-to-back games. He finished the season with eight tackles, four pressures, three quarterback hits, three sacks, and two tackles for loss in nine games.
Graham found a new role on defense in 2025, though, as he played more defensive tackle than defensive end after the injury to Jalen Carter. That move actually helped Graham find a new lease on his NFL career, as he excelled in the middle rather than on the edges.

It's not clear whether Graham is actually going to be brought back by the Eagles, but he did enough that he could earn a roster spot in 2026 if he wanted to play. The real question is whether Roseman wants to bring him back or go younger on defense.
