Many NFL Draft experts believe that the Philadelphia Eagles are going to use the draft as the place to find their replacement for tight end Dallas Goedert.
There is always a chance that if Eagles general manager Howie Roseman can get the right price, he will re-sign him, and he has hinted at the NFL Combine that it could be the case. Another NFL Combine quote Eagles fans might be interested in hearing is from Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq, who confirmed Philly has not met with him yet, but likes what the team has done with tight ends.
"Obviously, they do a great job," Sadiq said via Chat Sports' Chase Senior. "Dallas Goedert had a really good year this year, and they're fun to watch. It would be awesome to play for them."
Kenyon Sadiq is a legitimate contender to get selected by the Eagles
Sadiq would give the Eagles arguably the most athletic tight end the franchise has ever had, as he is a great pass-catcher. Last season was a bit of a disappointment on the stat line as he went for 560 yards and eight touchdowns.
The Eagles desperately need tight ends, with Cameron Latu the only one on the active roster. Grant Calcaterra and Kylen Granson join Goedert as free agents this offseason.
Philly has a ton of options to go at tight end with free agent names like Isaiah Likely and David Njoku being potential landing spots. Most mock drafts have Sadiq landing with the Eagles at pick 23.
Sadiq's stat line tells one story, but the tape tells a completely different one. This is a tight end that can run a 4.45 40-yard dash and make some great plays in the passing game, unlike most tight ends in the league.

Roseman is going to look at every option he has, and Sadiq is definitely going to be in the conversation, even if the two sides haven't formally met yet.
