The Philadelphia Eagles are spiraling out of control and are now 8-5 on the season after a brutal loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football. Just about no one played well, and this was especially true for QB Jalen Hurts.
Hurts had four interceptions and five total turnovers in one of the worst games of his NFL career. It's abundantly clear that this Eagles team has hit a massive Super Bowl hangover, and there doesn't appear to be much light at the end of the tunnel.
Even with another loss, Philly remains first in the NFC East at 8-5 and has a path to the division title and a home playoff game. The only chance the Eagles have of making a run this year is getting a home playoff game, but this feels like a one-and-done team. If nothing else, this notable player, who has come under fire this season for bad play, really played his tail off in Week 14.
Eagles' great Darius Slay gives props to Adoree' Jackson during MNF loss to the Chargers
Eagles' great Darius Slay gave some credit to cornerback Adoree' Jackson for his performance on Monday Night Football:
Adoree been playing damn good lately!

Jackson finished the game with a key interception and five total tackles, which was the second-most on the team. He also had two passes defended, which tied for the most he's had in a game this year.
One solid performance doesn't change how bad he's been the entire season, but it was nice to see the first-round cornerback finally play well, and he really was one of the lone bright spots for the Eagles in Week 14.
PFF gives him a 47.8 grade, which ranks 109th out of 111 qualified cornerbacks. He also contributes to one of the stingiest secondaries in the NFL. Philly's unit has allowed just 13 passing touchdowns and has nine interceptions. Vic Fangio's unit allows a passer rating of 77.3, which is the third-best mark in the league.

Adoree' Jackson didn't just forget how to play football, so it was nice to see a bit of a breakout performance from him. The Eagles' primary issues, though, are on the offensive side of the ball, so until those issues get fixed, this slide is going to continue.
