The Philadelphia Eagles should have great options in the 2026 NFL Draft despite having the 23rd overall pick in the first round.

One of the biggest positions of focus in the draft will be at offensive line as the Eagles look to find the future successor of starting right tackle Lane Johnson. One popular name in mock drafts at pick 23 is Alabama offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor, who told reporters one day before the draft that he did visit with the Eagles to see the facilities and see an old friend.

"I was there for a visit," Proctor said via The Philadelphia Inquirer's Devin Jackson. "It went well. I liked it. I like the facility. Obviously I got to see Jihaad Campbell. A guy I played with, but I had a pretty good experience at not even just that visit, but all the visits."

Last season at Alabama, he allowed 19 total pressures, four quarterback hits, and two sacks on 527 pass blocking snaps. He was a consensus All-American and first-team All-SEC selection as he earned a Pro Football Focus grade of 85.4 overall grade, ranking ninth out of 631 offensive tackles.

With Johnson almost retiring, the Eagles need to figure out the future at the right tackle position. Proctor could be the man to fill the job as he's got the size and skills to hold down the job for a long time.

The problem is that he is starting to get more popular in mock drafts, with being selected earlier in the top 20. That might leave the Eagles with losing him, but other mock drafts have had him drop, so there is still hope.

Philly needs to get depth on the offensive line after the departures of Brett Toth and Matt Pryor. It's only logical to get Proctor in the building and start rebuilding for the future.
