The final Week 14 injury report for the Philadelphia Eagles has finally been released, and it won't really surprise anyone.

Two players will be out for the game for the Eagles: defensive tackle Jalen Carter and right tackle Lane Johnson. Carter will miss his third game of the season, the second because of injury, as he deals with both shoulders being banged up. Johnson is also out for the third game this season with his foot injury, as Eagles fans hope it will be the last time.

Two other players are listed as questionable for the game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Safety Marcus Epps is doubtful with his shoulder injury, but is currently on IR and has not been activated yet. Offensive lineman Myles Hinton is also questionable, in the same situation as Epps, with a back injury.

Eagles officially know their star players are out, but what about Epps playing?

Johnson and Carter's statuses were not a surprise, as everyone knew they would be out. Carter is going to be week-to-week, while Johnson is expected to be back for the Las Vegas Raiders game next.

The real question is whether Epps will be activated and how much he will play. Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio hinted that Epps could not only play but also start if he is healthy.

Fans certainly hope that Epps can be the new starter over Sydney Brown, who did not play well in the 24-15 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 13. Brown struggled in coverage as he replaced Andrew Mukuba, who is on IR.

This is a game the Eagles need, and since they are already short-handed, Epps could provide a massive boost to a secondary that desperately needs it.
