The Philadelphia Eagles have delivered some much-needed good news to the fan base regarding some of the injuries they are dealing with.
Tight end Dallas Goedert will be good to go in Week after having another full practice on Friday and doesn't have any injury designation. Goedert has been dealing with a knee sprain since last week and missed the Eagles' Week 2 win over the Chiefs.
Only two players had injury designations. Backup quarterback Tanner McKee's fractured right thumb did not hold him back from being limited in practice all week, but he will be questionable for the game. Running back Will Shipley has been progressing well with his rib injury, although he was also limited in practice. However, he will still be ruled out for the game.
Other key injuries on the list include defensive tackle Jalen Carter, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury over the last week plus, which was first mentioned by defensive coordinator Vic Fangio. Another defensive tackle, Byron Young, suffered a forehead laceration in practice on Wednesday, but was back at practice on Friday. Young and Carter are both good to play on Sunday.

Goedert commanding the great news by Eagles
All eyes have been on Goedert after missing 15 games between 2022 and 2024 with multiple injuries. He's already missed one game after leading the Eagles in receptions with seven in Week 1.
McKee and Shipley appear to be making good progress. It would be a surprise to see McKee as the backup this week, as he might be another week or two away from being 100%. Shipley could be longer, but it's encouraging to see him at least on the practice field.
Whether Carter is going to hold up well will be another question. He didn't seem like himself last week in Kansas City, as Fangio mentioned he's still working to get back into shape.

The Eagles look to be in a prime position to be nearly 100% healthy in a critical early-season matchup with the Los Angeles Rams.
