The Philadelphia Eagles only held a walkthrough on their first day of preparation for their Week 15 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, and it was not great news for the injury report.
Defensive tackle Jalen Carter (shoulders) and right tackle Lane Johnson (foot) did not practice with the team. Carter missed his third game of the season in the 22-19 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 14 after having procedures on his shoulders and is considered week to week. Johnson missed his third straight game against LA, but his return timetable was expected to be against the Raiders.
Left guard Landon Dickerson was added onto the injury report with a new calf injury as he was limited. Dickerson missed part of the Chargers game due to the injury, but returned in the second half to finish the game. Last week, he missed practice for rest, so he could end up having a rest day this week as well.
Two players were listed as full participants in practice for the Eagles. Linebacker Zach Baun is still dealing with his hand injury, but he fully practiced. Long snapper Charley Hughlett returned to practice for the first time since being placed on IR with an abdominal injury.
Eagles have some concerns with top linemen
After the defense had seven sacks, Carter may not need to rush back into the lineup as quickly as some think. Jordan Davis and Byron Young combined for three of the team's seven sacks in the Chargers game.
Johnson, on the other hand, is desperately needed as the Eagles have a winning record with him in the lineup and have a losing record without him. He is the key to the offensive line holding together. While Fred Johnson has done a fine job in his place, Lane Johnson needs to return.
Dickerson might need a week to rest and heal up after multiple injuries this season. Eagles fans can appreciate the warrior mentality, but he did not look good in the Chargers game after returning from injury. Should he not play, it would be Brett Toth filling in.
Hughlett looks to be activated this week and play for the Eagles after the team released Cal Adomitis earlier in the week. The Eagles' kicking unit has struggled of late, with kicker Jake Elliott missing field goals in three straight weeks, so maybe having Hughlett back in there will help.

The injury report isn't the best way to start the week, but Eagles fans will have to wait and see what happens in the next two practices.
