The Philadelphia Eagles have made it to the NFL Championship Game, and the excitement is real. That's probably one of the bigger understatements you'll read this week.
What's even more exciting is it's possible we'll see the return of one Philly's greatest players of this era, Brandon Graham.
Wait! What?
Brandon Graham hints at possible return as Eagles prepare for the NFC Championship Game.
Sadly, Brandon Graham's Week 12 injury ended his season and, quite possibly, his career. Since then, he's been active at practice and weekly matchups whether those games have been at home or away.
Sunday, following the Eagles' second win this season over the Los Angeles Rams, Graham was asked if there was a chance he would make it back to the field this season. His response — "We'll see".
So, he's saying there's a chance?
Realistically, it takes months to recover from a triceps tear. BG's return is unlikely, but after watching him for this long, we wouldn't put anything past him.
In 11 games this season, he notched 20 combined tackles, seven quarterback hits, six tackles for a loss, a forced fumble, and 3.5 sacks. He has statistically outperformed his 2023 season despite playing fewer snaps. It was one of the best seasons of his career. Credit Vic Fangio for finding a role for him in his defense.
With 217 games played (11 during the postseason), no other Eagles great has played in more. Graham was a 6th-year captain this season.
He's a former Pro Bowler (2020), a 2016 Second-Team All-Pro, and a Super Bowl champion. He ranks third all-time among all Eagles in sacks (76.5). Seeing him back on the field would be epic.
Philadelphia is preparing for another Super Bowl run. They have to win on Sunday to qualify. They host the rival Washington Commanders and are 6.5-point favorites, according to FanDuel.
