Well, they survived... And, we do mean barely, but they're in the game. That's all that matters. The Philadelphia Eagles and Detroit Lions could be in the same boat today, but they aren't.

No one in the Motor City cares about a 15-win season right now. They may in a few months, but they don't today. All they're thinking about is a missed opportunity.

We can't say Philly made the most of their opportunity. They didn't. The defense balled out, but the offense was sloppy. The special teams unit left points on the field.

In the end, it didn't matter. The Birds outlasted the Los Angeles Rams, and by virtue of Detroit's postseason exit. Philadelphia will host the NFC Championship Game.

The opponent is familiar. It's a divisional rival that the Birds have played 180 times but never in an NFC Championship Game. The Washington Commanders manhandled the Lions, and now, they're coming to the City of Brotherly Love.

Eagles OC Kellen Moore chats with the Philly media ahead of the NFC Championship Game.

Despite Philly's pair of wins during this playoff run, there's a nervous feeling. The Birds haven't hit on all cylinders yet. Everyone is asking the same questions. How do we get A.J. Brown involved? Is Jalen too cautious? Was Kellen Moore focused? How does this team prepare if they aren't sure if Jalen can run?

Will he be effective if he can't run?

As is customary before a Sunday game, Philly's coordinators met with media members on Tuesday. All of those discussions were on the table.

Kellen Moore, after being under the microscope because of all of those head-coaching interviews, spoke for just over nine minutes. Here's everything he said before the NFC Championship Game.

He seems in good spirits. We'll see about Jalen. If you haven't noticed, all we've heard about his game status is 'we'll see'. We think we can say this with confidence though. There's no way he won't play in the NFC Championship Game.

The Commanders are hot. They're winners of seven straight, but we think Philly is the better team. They're the favorites to win the Super Bowl now. Two more wins and they'll hoist their second Vince Lombardi Trophy.
