The Philadelphia Eagles got to enjoy their Thursday night by watching the Atlanta Falcons and the Green Bay Packers, to see a few former players and coaches not have their best night.
Green Bay took an early lead on Atlanta, but somehow the Falcons mounted a massive run to end the game and pull off a stunning 35-14 win. Both teams moved to 1-2, but the Packers ultimately seemed to take the loss the worst.
During the game, many former Eagles were shown, but most didn't perform well, showing that life isn't always greener on the other side. Let's look at all these nightmare performances.
Former Eagles on display during Falcons-Packers Thursday night blowout
Jahan Dotson, Falcons WR
The shaky start to the 2026 season for Dotson continues, as he is just a non-factor in this Falcons offense. He finished with one reception for nine yards on three targets. That puts him at four receptions for 41 yards through three games. Yeah, that sounds about right for Eagles fans.
Sydney Brown, Falcons S
Unfortently Eagles fans remember Brown from being a complete liability in Philly's secondary for years, but did have that nice pick-six against the Arizona Cardinals in 2023 that they ended up losing. Actually, let's move past that game.
Anyway, Brown had one tackle in the game, which puts him at 11 on the season. It was a season-low for him, but it appears there is a role for him on this Atlanta team, so good for him. Still not a great game, though.
Olamide Zaccheaus, Falcons WR
It's been awhile since Eagles fans have heard about Zaccheaus, but he is still trucking along with the Falcons this season after a one-year run with the Chicago Bears last year. In this game, he had two receptions for nine yards putting his season stats at...four receptions for 17 yards. Sounds like money well spent for the Falcons at receiver between Dotson and Zaccheaus.
Honorable Mention for Good Performance: Nick Muse, TE
How about finding a good performance here with Muse, who was with the Eagles during the 2024 season. He came up big on special teams with four tackles. Hey, a good former Eagles performance! Nice!

Joanthan Gannon, Packers DC
The ex-Eagles who came out as the biggest loser of the game was the new Packers defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon. Yes, Eagles fans, that guy who decided to not do his job during the first Eagles-Chiefs Super Bowl because he already had the Cardinals head coaching job and decided to do nothing, resulting in the loss. Not to hold grudges, but there was a smirk on every Eagles fans' face to see the Packers get lit up for 35 points.
Green Bay's defense allowed 498 yards of offense, including 242 on the ground, and got zero sacks. Gannon is not off to a good start with the Packers, and Eagles fans have zero reason to complain about that part.
