The Philadelphia Eagles have shifted their focus to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4 after their embarrassing 20-point loss to the Chicago Bears on Monday, but plenty is still happening with former players of the team around the league.

Jahan Dotson's journey with the Atlanta Falcons was already talked about with his struggles. There are others from last year's free agency class that is starting and performing this season. Eagles fans have been focused on guys like Jaelan Phillips, Reed Blankenship, and Nakobe Dean.

This week's check-in on former Eagles players, we take a look at how those three played in Week 3. There is also a bonus with a former Eagle who hasn't played, but landed on a new team.

Jaelan Phillips has quiet day in Panthers' loss to the Browns

Phillips has been off to a pretty good start to the 2026 season with two sacks in two games, but that was quickly evaporated against the Cleveland Browns of all teams. He ended up having only two tackles in the game, and that was about it. The Browns held him in check pretty well, but it's only one game, so he has a chance to bounce back.

Reed Blankenship starting to turn in the right direction for the Eagles

It's been a rough start for the season for Blankenship, but he got a breakthrough in the Texans' loss to the Indianapolis Colts. He ended up getting an interception off of Daniel Jones. Unfortently, it was not enough to win the game, but it was good to see Blankenship at least get back in the good graces of the Houston fan base.

Nakobe Dean continues to show why he has been great

Nakobe Dean is just doing Nakobe Dean things in Las Vegas, as the Raiders linebacker is actually becoming one of the best in the NFL. Dean had 11 tackles, one pass deflection, and one forced fumble in the win over the New Orleans Saints. That's now three straight games where Dean has forced a turnover, which really shows that the Eagles might have messed up by letting him walk.

Bonus: Mekhi Becton lands with Green Bay Packers to save their offensive line

Becton is finally back in the NFL after some talk about him being a good option for the Eagles. Instead, he is going to try to help the Packers' depleted offensive line and sign with them to compete for a starting guard position or at least give them depth. Let's hope this doesn't go as badly as it did for him with the Los Angeles Chargers last year.
