The Philadelphia Eagles just had one of the wildest plays of the season, and it did not go in their favor.
During the second quarter of their Monday Night Football showdown against the Los Angeles Chargers, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts threw an interception, and the Chargers then fumbled it, with Will Shipley causing the fumble. Hurts ended up picking it up to fumble it, with Los Angeles recovering it.
There aren't many plays like that in NFL history, but despite some history behind it, it might hurt some fantasy managers in the worst way possible, especially since it is late in the season for fantasy.
Fantasy managers of Hurts can't be happy
ESPN's Field Yates pointed out that Hurts ended up losing four points on the play. -2 was from the interceptions and -2 on the fumble.
The fantasy points on that play: Jalen Hurts loses 2 points for the interception, then loses 2 more points for fumbling the ball after recovering the other fumble on the play.

-4 points on one play. Never seen that before.
It's the kind of play that not many people may ever see again in their lifetimes, but it's one that no fantasy owner ever wants to see again. Hurts owners are feeling the pain of the turnovers as they try to make one final push for the postseason.
This is rare for the Eagles to see, as Hurts went into the game with just two interceptions on the season. He had three turnovers in the first half, the first time that's happened all season.
Not sure how many fantasy owners are going to feel great about Hurts' fantasy points after the first half, with 95 yards passing and three turnovers. That should not really generate many points in fantasy.

Everyone is hoping that the second half can only improve upon things for the Eagles and Hurts after a nightmare first half. If it doesn't, it might be time to drop Hurts from all fantasy teams.
