Ah, the Philadelphia Eagles are truly back in action when quarterback Jalen Hurts delivers an incredible quote.
The Eagles just completed their first day of training camp, and while it was relatively quiet, it appeared to be a good first day for Hurts, receiving praise for his first practice with Sean Mannion since OTAs. Hurts had a lot of plays under center and showed that he can throw it over the middle of the field.
After practice, Hurts spoke to the media and was asked about the Eagles sticking together in 2026. For the Eagles' franchise quarterback, it all starts with his head coach, Nick Sirianni, who inspired Hurts to come up with a great slogan for this season.
"Well, you know, I think that's something that honestly it starts from Coach Sirianni and his message and his first words in yesterday's team meeting was about being together and being aligned," Hurts said. "And when I was taking notes of it, I just, you know, thought about 100% alignment and zero entitlement. And so as a team, that's what everybody's pushing. I talked to Saquon, and he's talking about just us being disciplined and us going out there and fighting for one another and executing. So, you know, that's a bigger picture standpoint. And, you know, I think Coach Sirianni is starting with him, obviously, but we just want to take it a day at a time and being able to onboard everything we're doing and continue to deposit daily."

Those words have never hit harder from Hurts. It's the words that needed to be spoken after what happened last year.
The Eagles dealt with drama from their star wide receiver A.J. Brown after several frustrations with the offense. That boiled over into Brown saying he was done with the Eagles, and the franchise gave him his wish by trading him to the New England Patriots.
Now, Hurts and Sirianni want to instill a culture that is all about making sure they stick together as teammates. The days of players complaining for selfish reasons are over. They want to win now, no matter what.
This is the slogan that the Eagles need to live by if they want to improve on their 11-6 season and early playoff exit. They have to find a way tnot to destroy the teamand come together, which most of the players seem to be aligned with.
