Philadelphia Eagles fans have been rejoicing with the news that future Hall of Fame right tackle Lane Johnson is officially coming back for the 2026 season, but that's not the only lineman returning.
The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane and Eagles reporter Derrick Gunn have also shared that starting left guard Landon Dickerson is also back in 2026. Dickerson was considering retirement after dealing with injuries in the 2025 season.
Despite his frustrations with health issues Landon Dickerson is planning to return for the 2026 season ... per source.

Johnson and Dickerson were not the only Eagles that was thinking about retiring and deciding to come back in 2026. Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio had to be convinced to come back in 2026 after telling the team initially that he was retiring.
Landon Dickerson also back for 2026 season
Dickerson has had an impressive first five years in the NFL, making the Pro Bowl three years in a row from 2022 through 2024. Despite missing only two games last year, Dickerson dealt with injuries throughout the season and was never healthy, leading to one of the worst seasons of his career. Pro Football Focus gave Dickerson a grade of 67.2, ranking 30th out of 81 guards in the NFL.
Things will look a bit different for the Eagles in 2026, as their former offensive line coach, Jeff Stoutland, is no longer with the team. Chris Kuper is replacing him as the new offensive line coach.
All five of the Eagles' starters on the line should be back for 2026 unless there are decisions made to cut any of them. The only one with any chance of getting released is right guard Tyler Steen to save some money, but that feels like a stretch.

At 27, Dickerson's return is huge, as the Eagles' fan base hopes he can stay healthy and be the guy they saw dominate the line in 2024.
