OTAs are over a week done, and there is still so much that needs to be decided over the next few months before the Philadelphia Eagles kick off their 2026 season.

Training camp is going to have so many more fierce position battles than ever before, as Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has added a ton of depth to the roster. This will make things tough for head coach Nick Sirianni and the coaching staff to decide who makes the team.

Only 53 men can make the roster going into September, so who ends up making it? Here's predictions on the roster that ends up making up the Eagles based on what happened at OTAs.

2026 Philadelphia Eagles 53-Man Roster Updated Prediction

QB - Jalen Hurts, Tanner McKee, Andy Dalton, Cole Payton

McKee will keep his job as Hurts' backup, while Dalton falls into the QB3 role. There's a strong chance that if Payton plays well in training camp, McKee or Dalton might end up getting moved off the team either through a trade or release, but for now, they bring back all four QBs.

RB - Saquon Barkley, Tank Bigsby, Will Shipley

Barkley and Bigsby are the obvious locks, but Shipley gets the job done based on what he does on special teams in the return game. While Dameon Pierce and Elijah Mitchell will push Shipley, ultimately, the Eagles stick with the young guy who has been there a while.

WR - DeVonta Smith, Makai Lemon, Dontayvion Wicks, Marquise "Hollywood" Brown, Darius Cooper, Johnny Wilson, Britain Covey

Covey survives the cutdown since he is arguably the team's best returner on special teams. Cooper and Wilson get the advantage over Elijah Moore as they are younger and can also be contributors on special teams as well.

TE - Dallas Goedert, Eli Stowers, Johnny Mundt

While there's a chance the Eagles could carry more than three tight ends since they will run more 12 personnel, these three feel like the safest. Goedert and Stowers are the receiving tight ends, while Mundt is the blocking tight end. The perfect combo for what Philly needs in the room.

OL - Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson, Cam Jurgens, Tyler Steen, Lane Johnson, Fred Johnson, Markel Bell, Michael Jordan, Drew Kendal, Micah Morris

This season, the Eagles need to bring back more offensive linemen than they would like. Due to all the injuries they dealt with during the 2025 campaign, it's better to have more depth, like Fred Johnson, Bell, Jordan, Kendal, and Morris there.

DL - Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Moro Ojomo, Byron Young, Ty Robinson

The defensive line feels very self-explanatory with the main guys back. Gabe Hall will be one to watch if he can make it. New fan favorite Uar Bernard takes this year to be on the practice squad to learn the sport and might get called up late in the season.

EDGE - Jonathan Greenard, Nolan Smith, Jalyx Hunt, Arnold Ebiketie, A.J. Epenesa

These are the five that should stay on the 53-man roster with no surprises, as it is more of a matter of who starts between Smith and Hunt. Keyshawn James-Newby and Joshua Weru could be practice squad members.

Inside Linebacker - Zack Baun, Jihaad Campbell, Jeremiah Trotter Jr., Smael Mondon Jr.

Deontae Lawson and Chance Campbell have a chance to make some noise at the bottom of the depth chart, but are more likely to be practice squad members. Watch for Trotter to be more involved in the rotation with Campbell.

CB - Quinyon Mitchell, Riq Woolen, Cooper DeJean, Jonathan Jones, Kelee Ringo

Jakorian Bennett and Mac McWilliams are still solid corners, but the depth of the position ultimately sends them to the practice squad. Ringo survives based on his special teams play as one of the best gunners on the team. Jones prevails as a backup, with Eagles fans hoping he doesn't take the field with how good the top three are.

Safety - Andrew Mukuba, Marcus Epps, Michael Carter II, J.T. Gray

Cole Wisniewski is right on the fence of the 53-man roster, but it could depend on how many offensive linemen and receivers the Eagles carry. Otherwise, Carter can play nickel and safety, and Gray is one of the best special teamers in the NFL.

Special Teams - Jake Elliott (Kicker), Braden Mann (Punter), Rocco Underwood (Long Snapper)

No massive surprises on special teams as Elliott and Mann hold down their jobs. The Eagles most likely avoid adding competition at long snapper, and the rookie Underwood gets the job.
