Here we are again, Philadelphia Eagles fans. More A.J. Brown trade talk. How close is the fan base to losing it on this subject?
Well, it's going to continue on for quite some time, but there seems to be more steam on the trade talks than ever before. Brown's camp was looking for trade suitors at the NFL Combine, while Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has said he is open to listening, but only if it's a good deal.
Reports have been that Roseman is looking to trade two draft picks for Brown, with one a first-round pick and the other a Day 2 pick, but there have been conflicting reports on whether it is a second-round pick or just a top-100 pick. With less than a week until the 2026 offseason officially begins, where are the Eagles at with Brown trade talks?
What is the latest on the Eagles and potentially trading A.J. Brown?
Let's start with The Athletic's Dianna Russini, who has been following the Brown situation closely (maybe to the extent that Eagles fans don't appreciate). Russini, while sharing the latest on the Maxx Crosby trade talks, added what is going on currently with Brown and the Eagles.
"League sources say the Eagles have set a high price for the three-time Pro Bowler, and Howie Roseman has remained firm, even dating back to last season: To get Brown, it will take a big package. Teams remain interested."
Jumping it next to NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo, as he provided an update on Brown on the show Good Morning Football. Garafolo said teams are calling about Brown and making offers, but the Eagles are looking for a "Quinnen Williams-esque" deal that includes a first and second-round pick.

All this shows is that Roseman is not messing around. He wants his two picks for Brown and is not desperate enough to move him off the books. Roseman is prepared to have Brown on the team in 2026, and he doesn't care.

Nobody else might appreciate or understand what Roseman is doing, but every Eagles fan is applauding how he is handling the situation and doing things the right way. If teams want Brown badly, make Roseman an offer he can't refuse.
