Draft season is in full force and everyone is trying to predict what the Philadelphia Eagles are going to be doing.

There are many names being considered for the Eagles, with the most popular at wide receiver, cornerback, or tight end, depending on how the draft falls. The talent level at each of those positions in the draft is good enough that the team can still have starter talent in the second round.

Eagles general manager Howie Roseman is going to have a hit pick of the litter and find the right picks, which he has done a masterful job of doing over the years. There should be no exception to that going into 2026, which is why mock drafts are having the Eagles hit home runs.

Latest mock draft shows Eagles taking care of position of needs and depth

ESPN NFL Draft analyst Matt Miller released his latest mock draft after the Senior Bowl, as he shares who the Eagles will be taking in the first two rounds of the draft. Miller's first pick is Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq, who has been very popular in mock drafts for the Eagles.

"The Eagles have a tough call at tight end, with Dallas Goedert recently turning 31 and about to hit the void years of his contract. Even if the Eagles decide to restructure Goedert's deal and keep him for 2026, they're known for drafting for future need. Sadiq is a sudden and productive F-tight end prospect but lacks elite size at 6-foot-3 and 245 pounds. His run-after-catch skills are elite, and he's a proven red zone menace, but his drop issues (six in 2025) will be heavily considered. Sadiq is the best tight end in the class and would be an ideal middle-of-the-field playmaker for Jalen Hurts."

Sadiq might be the most athletic tight end in the draft, as he had a big final year at Oregon with 51 receptions for 560 yards and three touchdowns. This would be an easy replacement for Goedert and give Jalen Hurts a new pass catcher to work with.

Miller's next pick for the Eagles in the second round is Iowa State defensive tackle Domonique Orange.

"It wouldn't be an Eagles draft without an early pick in the trenches. Orange is a massive nose tackle or 1-technique who could help free up Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis to make even more plays."

Orange would be a fascinating pick for the Eagles, especially since they already got Ty Robinson in last year's draft. Despite just 18 tackles and one pass deflection last year at Iowa State, Orange would be a great run stopper who can help Carter, Davis, and Moro Ojomo to be a part of their rotation.

Defensive line is a new position that hasn't been predicted in mock drafts, but Roseman does love his linemen, so it wouldn't be a total surprise.
