This is something to monitor.

The Philadelphia Eagles are making sure they leave no stone unturned on the offensive line, as they are showing a lot of interest in the position group.

Philly had Penn State center Nick Dawkins on a local visit, but he would not be the only center talking with the Eagles. Reporter James Simone shared that Duke center Brian Parker II had a Zoom meeting with the Eagles as well.

Parker is an interesting prospect, as he played tackle at the college level with the Blue Devils but is making the transition to center in the NFL. Last year with Duke, Parker allowed 19 pressures, three sacks, and two quarterback hits in 508 pass blocking snaps.

This is not the first time the Eagles have shown interest in Parker; the team also spoke with him at the Shrine Bowl. He is projected to be a Day 3 selection in the NFL Draft.

There have been many questions on the Eagles' offensive line in the offseason after right tackle Lane Johnson and left guard Landon Dickerson almost retired. The depth of the line, though, is an even bigger question as the team lost Brett Toth and Matt Pryor in free agency.

Toth is the one lost who will be felt the most by the team since he was a swing lineman who played both guard and center. In fact, when Jurgens missed time due to injury, Toth was the starting center in his place.

Philly can't mess around at the center position, as Jurgens talked about his struggles throughout last season with his injury. Parker would be a guy who can not only help with backing up at center but also serve as a swing lineman like Toth and play multiple positions on the line.

The Eagles are going to be aggressive with offensive linemen in the draft, and Parker could be near the top of the list for them.
