Wide receiver is going to be a fascinating position for the Philadelphia Eagles and how the team is going to handle it during the 2026 NFL Draft.
Everyone at this point knows that an A.J. Brown trade is pretty much going to happen at some point after June 1, so it's all about finding his replacement. The Eagles are expected to get a receiver in Day 1 or 2 of the draft to find Brown's replacement, but an underrated receiver on Day 3 might be an intriguing choice for Philly.
NFL reporter Aaron Wilson reported that the Eagles are scheduled to meet with Texas Tech wide receiver Caleb Douglas on a pre-draft visit. Last season, Douglas caught 54 passes for 846 yards and seven touchdowns.

The measurements for Douglas are all there to show that he can be a great NFL player in the future. Standing at 6-foot-3 and 206 pounds, Douglas has run a 4.39-second 40-yard dash time with a 10 feet, six inches broad jump and a 31.5-inch vertical.
Douglas has all the physical tools to be a stellar receiver in the league, but he has some things he needs to work on. His drop rate is high, and he struggles at times against physical corners in tough coverage. The speed Douglas shows isn't always consistently on display.
NFL Draft experts project Douglas to be a Day 3 pick between the fifth and seventh rounds. If the Eagles got him there, he would most likely be competing with guys like Elijah Moore, Johnny Wilson, and Darius Cooper for the final two or three spots on the depth chart at receiver.
