Well, Philadelphia Eagles fans, there is bad news: apparently there is a culture problem with the franchise now.
Last season was filled with so much drama from all the A.J. Brown chaos to the reports about Jalen Hurts to a positivity rabbit actually existing in the locker room for less than a week. That didn't stop them from going 11-6 and winning the NFC East, but according to the national media, this team is an absolute miss and needs help from the outside.
Earlier in the week, ESPN NFL writer Bill Barnwell wrote that the Eagles should make a trade for Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby. When Barnwell appeared on "NFL Live" to ask why the Eagles should trade for Crosby, the explanation was that "(The Eagles) need a culture change," and Crosby can help with that.
Would Maxx Crosby "fix" the Eagles' culture in 2026?
Yes, Crosby could certainly help change and shape a team's culture. He can bring his wealth of playoff experience, having played in a whopping one game, to show the Eagles what it takes to be a winner. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni doesn't have to talk about his 10 playoff appearances, six postseason wins, two Super Bowl appearances, and one Super Bowl win since 2021. Crosby's got it.
Of course, that is all sarcasm at its best.
Crosby is a game-changer on the field, but to say he will change the culture in the locker room is just ridiculous. The media is the one making things about the Eagles worse, not the team.
Just because Brown is more public about his frustrations doesn't mean there is a culture problem. How about that hit piece ESPN released last week about Jalen Hurts being a bad teammate and changing plays? Nobody on that team had a problem with Hurts, but because the media reported on it, it's now a problem for a quarterback with three Pro Bowls and a Super Bowl MVP on his resume.

Don't let the media fool fans, there is no culture problem with a team that has won 69.4% of its regular-season games since 2021. The real problem is the media's obsession with destroying the Eagles' reputation every step of the way and making a bigger deal of things when there isn't one. A message to the national media: please find something else to talk about and quit creating narratives that aren't there.
