Please let there be chaos early on.

So many different scenarios can happen during an NFL Draft, and the Philadelphia Eagles are in a position where they would love for the unthinkable to happen.

While sometimes picking low in the draft has its disadvantages, including losing out on top talent, one good thing about selecting at the bottom of the first round is that sleeper picks could fall to a team, and they can sign starting talent for less.

The Eagles have benefited from that in the past, with getting good talent later than they should, with guys like Jalen Carter and Jihaad Campbell. If Eagles general manager Howie Roseman can have that again in this draft, that would be a dream come true for Philly.

Eagles just hoping for chaos to happen 22 picks before them

There are some interesting scenarios to watch before the Eagles pick that could help them land big-time talent. Everyone will be monitoring what will happen at quarterback.

Indiana's Fernando Mendoza will no doubt go number one to the Las Vegas Raiders, but Alabama's Ty Simpson is a wild card. Simpson has been projected to be selected everywhere in the first round, but the Eagles really need him to go before their 23rd pick so they can grab someone projected to go higher. Let's just hope it doesn't end up that Simpson is in the midnight green uniforms, causing mass hysteria in Philly.

Another potential top-10 talent to watch is Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson, whose stock is starting to drop dramatically and might land closer to 20. If that happens, the Eagles might have a shot to trade up to grab him and find their future WR2 to replace A.J. Brown, whose inevitable trade is going to happen sometime soon.

The offensive line is the last domino to watch, as, depending on how the first 22 picks go, the Eagles could very much find a starter there. There's a chance that five to seven offensive linemen could go before the 23rd pick, but if that number is less, Philly might have a steal on their hands and find their future successor to Lane Johnson without having to spend top 10 money for him.

A lot can happen before the Eagles make their 23rd overall pick, but if they can have total chaos before then, Roseman is really going to start doing what he does best and fleece the entire league with a great selection.
