There are a ton of questions surrounding the Philadelphia Eagles' offense entering the 2026 season, from the new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion to quarterback Jalen Hurts to wide receiver A.J. Brown.
With Brown on the verge of potentially being traded in the next few months, the Eagles need to come up with a plan to replace him. So far, general manager Howie Roseman has signed Marquise "Hollywood" Brown and Elijah Moore as WR3 options, but still needs a WR2 option in case A.J. Brown is gone. An interesting choice in the 2026 NFL Draft might become available, as ESPN NFL Draft expert Matt Miller shared that Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson could see his stock drop in the first round.
“Many scouts remarked that Tyson's hamstring injury and lack of predraft workouts could cause him to slide to the back half of the first round.”
Jordyn Tyson might end up being a legitimate option for Eagles at 23
Tyson had a monster 2024 season with 75 receptions for 1,101 yards and 10 touchdowns in his first year with the Sun Devils. Last year was a down year as he dropped to 61 receptions for 711 yards and eight touchdowns, with his hamstring injury raising questions for the previously projected top-10 picks.
Miller now believes Tyson's stock could be dropping, but it's not known how far he could fall. It might be difficult for Tyson to believe he could fall all the way to the Eagles' 23rd overall pick, but maybe there's a chance Roseman could trade up for him.
Philly has been projected to go with an edge rusher or offensive lineman with their first-round pick to either find Jaelan Phillips' replacement or the potential successor to right tackle Lane Johnson. Some mock drafts have the Eagles taking a wide receiver at 23 to replace A.J. Brown, so Tyson might be a good fit at 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds.

This is a big draft for Roseman and the Eagles as they try to get younger with the offense and find the right pieces to push them into the future. If Tyson drops to them in the draft, it will be tough for them to pass up a chance to select him.
