The NFL has finished up the fan voting for the Pro Bowl, and now teams, players, and fans eagerly await to see who has made the final cut. But Philadelphia Eagles fans aren't going to be too pleased with where the voting stood hours before the ballots closed.
NBC Philadelphia Eagles reporter Dave Zangaro shared where the votes were with hours before they wouldn't be accepted anymore. There were five players on the Eagles who were in the top 10 at their positions:
- Cam Jurgens, C (Sixth)
- Lane Johnson, OT (Seventh)
- Jordan Mailata, OT (10th)
- Cooper DeJean, CB (Ninth)
- Zack Baun, LB (10th)
Pro Bowl fan voting closes tonight. Here’s where Eagles rank among fan votes at their respective position groups:
— Dave Zangaro (@DZangaroNBCS) December 15, 2025
Cam Jurgens: 6th at C
Lane Johnson: 7th at OT
Jordan Mailata: 10th at OT
Cooper DeJean: 9th at CB
Zack Baun: 10th at LB
There was one notable missing player on there who has every right to be near or at the top that isn't even in the top 10: Quinyon Mitchell.
Pro Bowl voting is a joke with Mitchell outside the top 10 at cornerback
Let's face it, the Pro Bowl has been a joke for a long time, as it is more of a popularity contest than an actual showcasing of the top players in the NFL. One year, Baltimore Ravens backup quarterback Tyler Huntley had two touchdowns and three interceptions and still made the Pro Bowl.
Just awful.
The Score's Brenden Deeg shared some of the incredible numbers that prove Mitchell is a top-five cornerback in the NFL right now:
- Catch Rate Allowed: 41.6% (First)
- Touchdowns Allowed: 0 (First)
- Average Target Separation: 1.8 (Second)
- Coverage EPA: -16 (Third)
- Forced Incompletions: 12 (Third)
- Tight Windows Forced: 41.6% (Third)
To add to the brilliance of Mitchell, he has allowed a completion percentage of just 42.9% on the season. The quarterback rating against Mitchell in coverage is a staggeringly low 62.7 with receivers only gaining 4.9 yards per target.
No disrespect to these players, but for Jurgens to be sixth when he is having a significantly worse season than last year, and DeJean to get voted over Mitchell, shows fans aren't the ones who should be determining who makes the Pro Bowl. There's even an argument for Johnson being just seventh when he hasn't allowed a single quarterback hit or sack all season at the right tackle position.

At this point, there's no reason even to show any remotely close to respect for the Pro Bowl, as it's not even worth the time. Eagles fans know the truth about Mitchell and will wait for the All-Pro selections to come out since the fan base knows he will be on there.
