There have been two interviews reportedly completed for the Philadelphia Eagles' offensive coordinator job, and more are being requested and scheduled.
So far, Zac Robinson and Mike Kafka have interviewed for the Eagles' offensive coordinator job as they look for a replacement for Kevin Patullo after just one season in the role. NFL insider Mike Garafolo has added a new name to join in on the process, as the Eagles have requested to interview Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter.
Over the last three years in Indianapolis, Cooter has served as the Colts' offensive coordinator under head coach and former Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen. Cooter was also the Detroit Lions' offensive coordinator from 2016 through 2018.
Jim Bob Cooter and Nick Sirianni might be reunited in Philly
The Eagles were familiar with Cooter as early as 2021, when he served as a consultant during Sirianni's first season as head coach, and the two were together with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2012. Cooter would go on to Jacksonville to join former Eagles head coach Doug Pederson's staff as the passing game coordinator.
It would be an intriguing hire for the Eagles if they decide on Cooter, as he knows many of these players on offense and understands their strengths and weaknesses. That's a major advantage for the Eagles to have that.
Indianapolis's offensive scheme has been successful at running the football thanks to running back Jonathan Taylor, who rushed for nearly 1,600 yards in 2025. The Colts were ranked eighth in the NFL in passing, with Daniel Jones and Philip Rivers leading the offense.
