There is growing optimism among the Philadelphia Eagles fan base about the 2026 season, and it continues to look better and better by the day.

So far, before the 2026 NFL schedule release, two Eagles games have been leaked: one against the Dallas Cowboys and the other against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Eagles and Cowboys will face off on Thanksgiving Day, while Philly will be traveling to London in October to play the Jaguars.

There are still 15 other games to be confirmed and shared with the public, but based on what has been said so far, this actually looks good for the Eagles. Philly might be in a good position for the 2026 season.

Eagles fans should be feeling good about the team in 2026 from what they know now

The Eagles are entering the season with the 10th-easiest schedule in the NFL and the easiest in the NFC East. That means Philly already has a strong advantage to potentially win their third straight NFC East title.

History is also on the Eagles' side, with the two games already on the calendar for them. The Cowboys have hosted the Eagles twice on Thanksgiving Day, and both games were blowouts in favor of the Eagles, with the last contest a 33-10 domination handed by Eagles starting quarterback Mark Sanchez. Philly also shut out the Cowboys 27-0 in the "Bounty Bowl" back in 1989.

The Eagles fan base should also feel good about the Jaguars' London game, as they already beat them 24-18 in that very same city back in 2018. When the two played back in 2024, the Eagles won 28-23 against the Jaguars in front of the Philly home crowd.

With everything discussed so far, the arrow is pointing up for the Eagles, as they seem to have a massive advantage in 2026. More needs to be disclosed, but the fans in Philly should be happy with what they've faced so far.
