A lot of the behind-the-scenes footage from the 2026 NFL Draft weekend is starting to come out as the Philadelphia Eagles gave fans a look at all the action.
The Eagles released behind-the-scenes footage on their YouTube channel, showing everything that happened from the first round to the final pick. One interesting moment was in the seventh round when Eagles general manager Howie Roseman was trying to decide on a pick, and defensive line coach Clint Hurtt gave his thoughts on the team selecting International Pathway Program defensive lineman Uar Bernard.
“Developmental guy, but I trust myself, and I believe in the kid," Hurtt said.

Bernard is one of the most fascinating prospects in the draft as he comes from Nigeria, but has never played football. His workout before the draft is what attracted everyone to take a risk on him, as he is 6-foot-4 and over 300 pounds, has only 6% body fat, and ran a staggering 4.6-second 40.
He's a freakish athlete that the Eagles couldn't resist, as they have done well with players who are part of the International Pathway Program before. They selected left tackle Jordan Mailata in the seventh round as well, and he has now become one of the top 10 offensive tackles in the NFL.
The Eagles knew the kind of risk it was going to be to bring in Bernard, and the patience they were going to have to have with him, since he's never played football before, but the kind of build he has is rare to see. Now all the pressure is on Hurtt to make sure he can turn Bernard into the superstar player he has the potential to be.

This could end up being one of the best selections Roseman has ever made or one that might affect Hurtt's reputation if Bernard doesn't get it done.
