Everyone might have their opinions of Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, but the one constant about him is that he knows how to win games.
Coming off an 11-6 season, the Eagles are now in the offseason, and Hurts is coming off being a part of the Pro Bowl Games. He finished the season completing 64.8% of his passes for 3,224 yards and a career-high 25 touchdowns to just six interceptions in 16 games.
While speaking with the NFL Insiders on NFL Network, Eagles free agent linebacker Nakobe Dean was asked about Hurts. Dean had one word to describe the star quarterback.
“Nobody has any more winnability — I don’t even know if that’s a word — but nobody’s got more winnability than Jalen Hurts.”
Jalen Hurts' "winnability" has defined his six-year NFL career
Hurts has one of the best winning percentages as a starter in the NFL since the Eagles selected him in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He has a record of 57-25 as a starter, winning 69.5% of his games. Hurts is also 6-4 in the postseason with two Super Bowl appearances and one title to his resume.
The 27-year-old quarterback has had three Pro Bowl selections in his career, as well as a second-team All-Pro, and finished second in the MVP voting in 2022. He also won Super Bowl MVP back in 2024.
Fans and experts have their opinions about Hurts, who has been discussed as having limitations. The only limitations Eagles fans haven't seen in him are his ability to win football games, which he has demonstrated throughout his NFL career.

It might be a long offseason for the Eagles after the disappointment of the 2025 season, but that doesn't fall on Hurts completely, as he performed well. A new offensive coordinator in Sean Mannion might be able to unleash another level of eliteness from Hurts that the league isn't ready to see.
