Eagles fans are begging the Cowboys to make same fatal mistake they made in 2025

Oh please do it!

Philadelphia Eagles fans thought they would be able to stay as far away from cornerback Adoree' Jackson as possible after his one-year failure of an experiment at CB2, but he might end up being closer than everyone thinks.

NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported the Dallas Cowboys were hosting Jackson for a visit. This might be an opportunity for Jackson to reunite with his former Eagles defensive backs coach, Christian Parker, who is now the defensive coordinator for Dallas.

In his only season with the Eagles, Jackson racked up 55 tackles, 11 pass deflections, and one interception in 14 games with 10 starts. He allowed a completion percentage of 62.7% (the fourth-highest of his eight-year NFL career) and a passer rating of 80.2 (second-lowest of his career). Philly decided to let him walk in free agency and replaced him with Riq Woolen.

Jackson was actually pretty good in the secondary during the last month of the regular season, when the whole defense started to hit its stride. Other than that, it was a mixed bag with a lot more frustration than good moments that the Eagles fan base can remember.

It would certainly be great for Jackson to join the Cowboys, as that would mark the third straight NFC East team he would join. The move would always be appreciated because Eagles fans at least know they can have some success on him twice a year.

Jackson might be nearing the end of his NFL career, as interest in him is starting to wear off. Parker bringing Jackson in would make a lot of sense for depth, but if the Cowboys are looking at him as a potential starter, that would be great news for the Eagles.

Eagles fans will have to wait and see how it all plays out, but it looks very good for Philly if they can face Jackson twice a year.
