The Philadelphia Eagles have reportedly completed two interviews for their open offensive coordinator jobs, but more is on the way for the team.
Zac Robinson and Mike Kafka were the first two to be interviewed, with other names like Jim Bob Cooter and Charlie Weis Jr. also receiving requests to be part of the process. The two biggest named rumor candidates, Mike McDaniel and Brian Daboll, have been busy with head coach and offensive coordinator job interviews, as the Eagles have not set those up yet.
There were updates on McDaniel and Daboll that should make Eagles fans happy. ESPN NFL reporter Jeff Darlington said that McDaniel will get an interview with Philly "at some point," and SNY NFL reporter Connor Hughes shared that Daboll is "expected to get an extended look" by the Eagles.
Along with Mike Kafka, ex-#Giants coach Brian Daboll is expected to get an extended look at the #Eagles OC job, per sources.

Daboll & Jalen Hurts were together at Alabama.
Eagles still in the running for Mike McDaniel and Brian Daboll
McDaniel has been busy interviewing for multiple head coach openings, including the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns, and should also be meeting with the Las Vegas Raiders. Daboll interviewed for the Tennessee Titans head coach job and will be interviewing for the Los Angeles Chargers offensive coordinator role.
It makes more sense for Daboll to be a favorite as he has worked with Jalen Hurts at Alabama and Saquon Barkley with the Giants. He would fit well into the Eagles' scheme and help get the struggling running game going.
Eagles fans should love what McDaniel did with the running game for the Miami Dolphins in 2025, as a struggling passing game couldn't hold McDaniel back from transitioning to being a running team. That kind of change is what Phlly saw with Kellen Moore when he was the Eagles' offensive coordinator in 2024.

Patience will be a virtue for the Eagles fan base as the team slowly works through the candidates and brings in more of them before making a final decision.
