Philadelphia Eagles fans are still hurting and confused over the early playoff exit at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Wild Card game.

After watching the 49ers get blown out by the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Divisional Round matchup, the Eagles fan base got to see the Chicago Bears lose in overtime to the Los Angeles Rams 20-17. That's a nice revenge game since the Bears beat the Eagles in the regular season back on Black Friday, while Philly defeated the Rams all the way back in Week 3.

Despite watching all the action unfold, the Bears-Rams game wasn't going to make Eagles fans feel any better. In fact, it might have made them feel worse about it.

Eagles fans are just left upset after watching Bears-Rams game

It's hard not to be upset, as the fan base has to feel as though the Eagles could have been competitive or have beaten both teams. Philly's defense would have gotten three interceptions on Bears quarterback Caleb Williams, too, and since the Eagles already beat the Rams once, this could have been the second.

The 49ers were much worse to watch, as San Francisco scored only 6 points. They had the same number of injuries against the Eagles, and the Philly defense still allowed 23 points in the NFC Wild Card.

It's a combination of feeling like they could have beaten most of the NFC teams while also feeling like there were missed opportunities to win in the playoff game. Eagles fans are going through all kinds of emotions from watching those playoff games to all the drama being revealed behind the scenes in Philly.

The Eagles have only been out of the playoffs for a week, and it already feels like the longest offseason ever.
