Little did anyone know that it would be Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys players carrying the torch for an elite comeback as the NFC took down the AFC 66-52 in the Pro Bowl Games' flag football contest.
The NFC was down 52-36 to the AFC, but a furious comeback helped the NFC come back to win the game. With the win, the NFC moved to 4-0 against the NFC in flag football.
While football is usually a team effort, it was specifically the players from the Eagles and Cowboys who helped drive the comeback. For Philly, it was quarterback Jalen Hurts and Cooper DeJean making plays in the contest.

DeJean's night was a bit quieter as he only made a big impact on defense, but he did make a key play in the game. He was able to get one of his signature interceptions in the contest to help the NFC stay in the game.
Hurts was the one who did the heavy lifting as he finished with three touchdown passes on the night. NFC head coach Jerry Rice used Hurts and Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott to employ a two QB system throughout the game. Prescott finished with four touchdown passes in the win.
The combination of Hurts and Prescott was deadly, as on two occasions in the red zone, Hurts would pitch the ball to Prescott, who would throw a touchdown pass for the NFC. Those were key plays in the game to help the NFC pick up the win.

It's nice for one night to see two rival teams team up to help, but don't expect that kind of treatment moving forward after what happened with Christian Parker. The rivalry is back on.
