While most Philadelphia Eagles players are over two weeks into their offseason, quarterback Jalen Hurts' short break is officially done.
That's because the team announced that Hurts will be heading to the Pro Bowl to participate in the games. Hurts has been selected to the Pro Bowl twice in his NFL career since the Eagles selected him in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
During the 2025 season, Hurts completed 64.8% of his passes for 3,224 yards and 25 touchdowns to six interceptions in 16 games. He also rushed for 421 yards and eight touchdowns this past season.
Jalen Hurts is going back to the Pro Bowl for the third time
While Hurts put up respectable numbers for the Eagles, it wasn't quite like the other seasons he's had. He did hit a career-high in touchdown passes, and his TD:INT ratio was the best of his career, but the completion percentage dropped, and he still did not reach the standard that NFL fans want with passing yards.
Eagles fans aren't going to care at all because Hurts is a proven winner in his career. He's 57-25 as a starter in the regular season while also being 6-4 in the postseason. Hurts has been to two Super Bowls and won one, earning Super Bowl MVP honors in that title win.
It's nice for Hurts to be acknowledged for this honor as it has been an up and down season for him. From having a perfect passer rating against the Minnesota Vikings to having five turnovers against the Los Angeles Chargers, Hurts' 2025 season has felt more like a roller coaster, but he still put up good numbers.

The 2026 season will look very different for Hurts, as he will have a new offensive coordinator, Sean Mannion, who should shake things up. Eagles fans hope it will be a positive change for Hurts, who is trying to get his team back to the Super Bowl.
