Philadelphia Eagles fans can't help but laugh at the current situation in the NFL, with owners considering rule changes.

Among those submitted, one hot topic appears to have cooled off this offseason: there's nothing about the Tush Push. Last year, the NFL was within a few votes of banning the Tush Push, but for some reason, no one is even talking about it.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter confirmed that the Tush Push is staying put for the 2026 season, as the NFL owners will not be discussing it. Eagles future Hall of Fame right tackle Lane Johnson reacted to Schefter's post with just one emoji.

"😂"

Lane Johnson reacts to NFL owners not even talking about the Tush Push

It's funny that last offseason, a lot of NFL teams were talking about how the Tush Push was a health and safety concern. Why all of a sudden have teams just stopped caring about it?

The simple answer is that the Eagles are just not as good at executing the play, so no one cares. This proves that the Tush Push has never been about the players' health and safety. It's only about gaining any kind of competitive advantage, so they spread a false narrative, backed by zero facts, to try to get their way.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter anymore, as the Eagles are just not great at running the Tush Push anymore. They had a fumble on one against the Chicago Bears, and the Detroit Lions stuffed it multiple times last season.

With the play staying legal, the Eagles will continue to run the play as much as possible, but it's just funny how Philly not winning the Super Bowl means the play is okay. If the Eagles do better next year, watch for it to be a topic again.
