The Eagles announced three futures deal signings as the team enters the second day of its offseason.

After announcing the signings of eight players, the Eagles signed several players with valuable NFL experience for the 2026 season.

New Eagles additions to roster to start offseason

John Ojukwu, OT

Ojukuw is a 2023 undrafted free agent out of Boise State, who signed with the Tennessee Titans after the draft. After failing to make the roster out of training camp, Ojukuw signed with the Titans' practice squad. Over the span of three seasons, Ojukuw bounced back and forth between the Titans' active roster, practice squad, and release, finishing the 2025 season on Tennessee's practice squad. At 27 years old, Ojukuw has appeared in 16 games, with nine starts since 2023.

Carson Steele, RB

Steele gained notoriety for his luscious blonde locks and his love for his pet alligator. His play at UCLA and Ball State earned him a spot on the Kansas City Chiefs' active roster in 2024. After appearing in 17 games (three starts) for the Chiefs in 2024, Steele spent 2025 on their practice squad, not appearing in any games. He'll look to compete with Will Shipley and Tank Bigsby for an opportunity in 2026.

E.J. Jenkins, TE

Jenkins returns to the Eagles for the 2026 season for his fourth season with the team. Jenkins started his career with the Jets before signing with the Eagles on their practice squad in 2023. Jenkins had a quiet two-week cameo with the Raiders before returning to Philadelphia after the 2024 season. Jenkins has appeared in 10 games over his NFL career, all with Philadelphia. He appeared in two games this past NFL season with Philadelphia as well.
