The Philadelphia Eagles have lost so many key figures within the organization that they decided to hand out two contract extensions to important members.

The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane reported that assistant general manager Jon Ferrari and senior advisor to the general manager/chief security officer/gameday coaching operations Dom DiSandro each earned a new contract extension. McLane added to his report that "additional staffing adjustments are coming soon to football ops and the personnel department."

Everyone knows Big Dom and how important he has been to the organization, as he has helped with everything the Eagles needed during events and gameday. Ferrari has been in the NFL for nearly two decades, with more than half of that time with the Eagles.

These are two important extensions the Eagles needed to make to keep people in-house. They have already lost assistant general manager Alec Halaby and Bryce Johnston in the last month.

Big Dom is back as he has become a symbol of what Eagles fans love about the team. He has been called upon to do multiple things within the organization to help the players and coaches out. Fans will most likely remember 2023, when they were ejected from a game against the San Francisco 49ers for helping during an altercation.

Ferrari might not be as well known, but still an important key figure to the organization that helps behind the scenes. He is going to be a catalyst for helping Eagles general manager Howie Roseman, serving as his right-hand man.

These might not be the big moves to help the roster, but they will ensure that those who have helped build the roster behind the scenes stay where they need to be. The Eagles made a few good moves with more coming on the way.
