One more has just occurred, and it might hurt more than the other, as NFL insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo report that Eagles assistant general manager Alec Halaby is stepping away from the franchise to pursue another job. Halaby has been a massive contributor to the Eagles over the last 17 years, working his way up the rankings to be Eagles general manager Howie Roseman's right-hand man.

There's one thing to leave for another job, but this one is very different. It doesn't sound like Halaby has a job lined up, and he's just leaving.
Many are wondering if he could be a candidate for the Minnesota Vikings general manager opening, but that is not clear at the moment. It's honestly not even clear whether he will still be in football or go into another business.
This is a crushing blow for the Eagles' front office, as many members have left over the past few years, but this is someone Roseman trusted enough to be the assistant general manager. The two have worked closely together for nearly two decades, so the timing is interesting. It makes sense as the draft is over and moves are being made, but after 17 years?
