With NFL free agency less than a week away, Bleacher Report's NFL writers have made a point to "fill in" the biggest holes on offense and defense for every NFL team, including the Philadelphia Eagles.

NFL general managers, fresh off the NFL Combine, are continuing to readjust their draft boards and free-agent targets in an effort to "patch the holes" on their teams.

Missing piece to Eagles' offense

Bleacher Report believes the Eagles' offense needs another offensive weapon in the passing game. While speculation continues to surround A.J. Brown regarding his future, the team could be moving on from tight end Dallas Goedert on March 11 (or March 9). In addition to Goedert, the Eagles will most likely move on from TE2 Grant Calcaterra.

While many mock drafts had the Eagles making a push for Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq, it appears that his combine performance may have raised his draft stock to the point where he could be a reach for the team come late-April. Philadelphia does have options for finding a veteran tight end in David Njoku or Chig Okonkwo; however, it appears the team is also lobbying for a younger option.

Regardless of whether it's a tight end or wide receiver, new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion will need to supplement his offense with a high-level pass-catcher, in order assist Jalen Hurts after an inconsistent 2025.

Missing piece to Eagles' defense

With Jaelan Phillips now a free agent, his exceptional back half of the 2025 season may have priced him out of Philadelphia. If Eagles general manager Howie Roseman is not able to wave his magic wand, the Eagles will need to acquire an elite pass rusher to complete their defense.

While the Eagles have a need for a suitable CB2, they can utilize Cooper DeJean as an option in an effort to draft an elite pass rusher. If the Eagles look to go defense in the first round, look for Philadelphia to kick tires on Akheem Mesidor or Cashius Howell.
