There's a lot of buzz around the Seattle Seahawks after their Super Bowl win over the New England Patriots, which Philadelphia Eagles fans can acknowledge, but it is starting to go a bit too far.
Everyone is praising the work of Seahawks general manager John Schneider in building this roster that won 14 games in the regular season and took home the Lombardi. Pro Football Focus's Trevor Sikkema took it a step further and gave Schneider some strong words backing him up.
"I'm not sure if a general manager has ever had a better four year run."
Umm.....remember Howie Roseman?
This is the point in the article where every Eagles fan raises their hand and says, "Yeah, don't forget about Howie Roseman." Philly fans would be spot on in some aspects.
Over the last four years, from 2022 through 2025, the Eagles went 50-18 in the regular season and 6-3 in the postseason, with two Super Bowl appearances and one title. Seattle has gone 42-26 with two playoff appearances and one Super Bowl title.
Among the 31 players Roseman has drafted since 2022, every one of them is still playing in the NFL. Schneider has made 38 selections in the NFL Draft, with two no longer in the league.
Also, since 2022, Roseman has selected four players who became Pro Bowlers, with two of them becoming All-Pros. Schneider has selected three Pro Bowlers, with one of them becoming an All-Pro.
The point of this exercise is not to single out Schneider, as he has proven to be one of the best general managers in the NFL. He has made great strides with the Seahawks, and he deserves his praise for what he has done with Seattle over the years.

Let's not forget who is still the best general manager in the NFL, though: Roseman.
