The Philadelphia Eagles' offense is going through quite the transformation, but this isn't anything new for star quarterback Jalen Hurts.

New Eagles offensive coordinator Sean Mannion is Hurts's seventh different play caller since joining the NFL in 2020. Head coach Nick Sirianni spoke with the media about having Hurts go through yet another offensive scheme change and how he's handling it.

“I think Jalen, one thing that's special about Jalen is how consistent he is with his approach of getting better every single day, regardless of if we're calling a concept of one thing or a concept of another thing or who the play caller is or who his quarterback coach is," Sirianni said. "Just consistency from Jalen with how he approaches a daily process. I’ve always admired that about him.”

Nick Sirianni praises Jalen Hurts for something he's been criticized for

There have been many negative reports about Hurts over the offseason, including claims that he isn't coachable, calls his own plays, shows poor body language, and more. Sirianni seems to be on Hurts' side and speaks highly of how the franchise quarterback has handled the situation of having a new play-caller.

If there is anyone who has shown to be capable of being coachable and change, it's Hurts. He literally has to do it every single year, with new play callers constantly coming in and out of the building.

Despite all those changes, Hurts has still been to three Pro Bowls, two Super Bowls, won a Super Bowl, and was Super Bowl MVP. Anyone who has doubted or criticized Hurts in the past needs to find a quarterback who has gone through the constant changes he has as a play-caller. There aren't many.
