Is he worth the risk?

The Philadelphia Eagles have no choice but to use the 2026 NFL Draft to address their offensive line, as depth is lacking at the moment.

Key backups like Brett Toth and Matt Pryor signed elsewhere, leaving some gaps with depth players needed. ESPN NFL reporter Field Yates shared that the Eagles are set to have a pre-draft visit with an offensive lineman who can solve that problem.

"Oregon LT Isaiah World is visiting with the Eagles today after previously visiting with the Chargers. World spent his final college season with the Ducks after four seasons at Nevada. He suffered an ACL tear in Oregon’s playoff game vs. Indiana, but is on track to be ready to return to action by late October."

Eagles set to visit Oregon offensive tackle Isaiah World

World had a solid final season with the Ducks as he was selected for the second-team All-Big Ten team after allowing just 11 pressures, one quarterback hit, and one sack in 380 pass blocking snaps. Pro Football Focus had him graded at a 68.3, ranking him 143rd out of 632 tackles in the nation.

The first thought when considering World is that he could be a swing lineman between tackle and guard. He could help out similarly to how Toth was used the last few years in Philly, playing pretty much every position on the line.

Eagles fans are concerned about the prospect of another offseason with Lane Johnson and Landon Dickerson considering retirement. World would be able to somewhat ease that anxiety, but more would need to be done since he's not looking at potentially playing until October.

Philly would still have to use a draft pick in the first two days on the offensive line for someone who could step in right away if they needed to. According to draft experts, World is projected to go either in the fourth or fifth round of the draft.

There are going to be better options out there on the offensive line, but World is still a solid selection if they wait on Day 3 to get him.
