There might be four months between Philadelphia Eagles fans and the start of the 2026 NFL season, but that doesn't mean it's too early to take a closer look at the schedule.

Last week, the league's schedule was released, giving Eagles fans a first glimpse of what to expect. Some are viewing the schedule as tougher than expected, but the early part of the season might go better than the team expects.

Everyone will be dissecting the schedule over the next few months before the season begins to make their predictions on how things will go. Here's a look at how we believe the 2026 campaign will go for the Eagles.

Philadelphia Eagles' full 2026 schedule and predictions

Week 1 vs. Washington Commanders

The home opener will be fascinating to see how the offense looks with Sean Mannion calling the plays and not having A.J. Brown in the lineup, as a trade is most likely to happen. This game might come down to which defense plays better, with both teams playing under a new offensive scheme. Expect a gritty NFC East matchup to start the season.

Prediction: Eagles 23, Commanders 17 (1-0)

Week 2 at Tennessee Titans

Tennessee is undergoing a massive transformation with the franchise, but the Eagles' roster is just way more talented on paper. It would be surprising to see Philly take an early-season loss to a team that has a lot of work to do to reach its final form.

Prediction: Eagles 34, Titans 14 (2-0)

Week 3 at Chicago Bears (MNF)

A rematch of last year's embarrassing loss in Lincoln Financial Field, the Eagles' defense will be tested even more going up against a top-five rushing attack and a young quarterback in Caleb Williams, who can make all the throws. This could be where the Eagles hit their first bump in the road against a solid Bears football team.

Prediction: Bears 23, Eagles 20 (2-1)

Week 4 vs. Los Angeles Rams

Philly has won four straight against the Rams, but the last two matchups have been tight. Expect more of the same, as this should go right down to the wire. This ultimately goes down to how the Rams respond traveling across the country to play the Eagles, so that advantage goes to the Eagles.

Prediction: Eagles 30, Rams 27 (OT) (3-1)

Week 5 at Jacksonville Jaguars (London)

The Eagles beat the Jaguars in 2018, the last time the two teams met in London. Jacksonville is still a good football team, but a decline seems likely. Philly should find a way to win this game easier than everyone expects.

Prediction: Eagles 27, Jaguars 13 (4-1)

Week 6 vs. Carolina Panthers

This is where things might get a bit dicey for the Eagles, and the struggles start to happen. Carolina is a better team on paper than many expect, and this feels like a slugfest of a match. Watch for former Eagle Jaelan Phillips to have a strong game, but the Eagles ultimately find a way to win a tough one.

Prediction: Eagles 16, Panthers 12 (5-1)

Week 7 vs. Dallas Cowboys (MNF)

A second chance for the Eagles to be in prime time and an opportunity to get revenge on the Dallas Cowboys after blowing a 21-point lead the last time these two teams played each other. Philly will be motivated to make a statement in front of a national crowd, and this could end up being the game Eagles fans needed to see from Mannion to call a perfect game, and Jalen Hurts to go off through the air and on the ground.

Prediction: Eagles 37, Cowboys 27 (6-1)

Week 8 at Washington Commanders (SNF)

This stretch of games will eventually see the Eagles stumble, since they are playing the NFC East. Philly is guaranteed to lose at least one game against a divisional round game, if not two, in a season, so with the Commanders having a second chance against them, this might be one they take a loss on.

Prediction: Commanders 30, Eagles 21 (6-2)

Week 9 vs. New York Giants

One last game before a much-needed bye week, so the Eagles will have to put it all on the line against a Giants team that has improved on paper. Philly is usually pretty good about bouncing back from losses in the past, so give the Eagles the win here to slow down Jaxson Dart and the New York offense as Nick Sirianni's team limps into the bye week.

Prediction: Eagles 21, Giants 16 (7-2)

Week 11 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Even with the news of Aaron Rodgers coming back, the Eagles are back from their bye week and are feeling fresh. With this game being home before their short week, Philly should be able to take care of business in a big way.

Prediction: Eagles 31, Steelers 20 (8-2)

Week 12 at Dallas Cowboys (Thanksgiving)

The Cowboys always find one win against the Eagles, so this feels like the one that will be it. Dallas is at home and knows how to prep for these holiday games, so expect the Cowboys to be ready to take down Philly.

Prediction: Cowboys 34, Eagles 21 (8-3)

Week 13 at Arizona Cardinals

Arizona is overmatched in so many ways. Even traveling across the country, the Eagles should have zero problems getting the job done on the Cardinals with extra time to rest for this game.

Prediction: Eagles 44, Cardinals 22 (9-3)

Week 14 vs. Indianapolis Colts

Sirianni faces off against his first offensive coordinator in Philly, Shane Steichen, which should make for an interesting matchup. The Colts are a good team on paper and should compete for the AFC South, but the Eagles are feeling good about themselves at this point in the season, so they should find a way to hit the double-digit win column for the season.

Prediction: Eagles 28, Colts 19 (10-3)

Week 15 vs. Seattle Seahawks (Saturday)

What a showdown this should be between the Eagles and Seahawks, as it is on a short week, and this should be a matchup against Philly's top 10 offense and Seattle's top 10 defense. While the Seahawks are the defending Super Bowl champions, they lost enough guys that they won't be as good as they were in 2025, so the Eagles being at home gives them a slight advantage.

Prediction: Eagles 24, Seahawks 23 (11-3)

Week 16 vs. Houston Texans (Christmas Eve)

The Eagles have never lost to the Houston Texans in their six meetings. Despite how great that defense is, don't expect the results to change at the end.

Prediction: Eagles 21, Texans 10 (12-3)

Week 17 at San Francisco 49ers (SNF)

The dreaded 49ers always give Eagles fans fits, and this could have massive playoff implications. Despite the Eagles appearing better on paper in 2026, San Francisco is a feisty team that knows how to win these kinds of games. This Philly's revenge game might not go the way Eagles fans want it to, with them traveling to the West Coast for a Sunday night showdown.

Prediction: 49ers 27, Eagles 21 (12-4)

Week 18 at New York Giants (TBD)

At this point, the playoffs should be well in hand, and based on last year, 12-4 might not be good enough for the Eagles to be in the number one seed race, but it should give them the NFC East division title for the third straight year. That means Sirianni will most likely bench the starters before the playoffs and play the backup against the Giants, so don't expect a win in a game no one really cares about.

Prediction: Giants 21, Eagles 10 (12-5)
