20 former Eagles who are still having a hard time finding jobs this offseason
K'Von Wallace, safety
The hope, when the Eagles drafted K'Von Wallace in 2020, was he'd be a versatile piece that could play some slot corner, deep, and in the box. Let's just say things don't always work out as we imagine.
Wallace has spent time with the Titans and Cardinals since his exit. His NFL tenure for the most part has been a blur, though we do remember him blocking a field goal and jumping on a special teams fumble with our Birds.
He's running out of opportunities, and right now, he's looking for another. We wish him the best. We'll see what happens
Shaun Bradley, linebacker
The 2023 Eagles season was supposed to be an audition for Shaun Bradley. His goal was to prove he needed to be a part of this franchise's future for years to come. How did that go? He ruptured an Achilles tendon on August 12 during a preseason game versus the Baltimore Ravens while handling punt-block duties.
Bradley was ruled out for the entirety of the 2023 season as a result. With that, his Eagles tenure may have ended. That's how the ball bounces sometimes.
Will he earn another opportunity? We won't know until it happens, but for a former sixth-rounder who is returning from injury, the road won't be an easy one.
Quez Watkins, wide receiver
The conversations always lead us back to Quez Watkins, don't they? 'Fast Batman' has fast become someone the Birds have grown weary of.
He has one elite trait, and we believe that will land him another opportunity. We'll see how he does in his second act. When and where that second act will be are the obvious questions. Right now, it sounds like the Miami Dolphins are interested.
