Jalen Carter, defensive tackle

The Eagles' rookie defensive tackle has demonstrated his potential in six games for Philly this season. Jalen Carter has created consistent pressure. He has gotten to the quarterback to create sacks. He should be able to add to his sack total this week in this game versus the Commanders.

Carter finished with three assisted tackles in the Eagles' previous win over Washington. Defensive tackles have had success in accumulating sacks against the Commanders this year. The 22-year-old has a good matchup to continue his progression against one of the worst offensive lines.

Given the talent on the Eagles' front seven which features other good players such as Jordan Davis, Josh Sweat, Brandon Graham, Fletcher Cox, and Reddick, the Commanders' offensive line will have its share of challenges in limiting sacks and quarterback pressures. Carter has a good matchup to take advantage of and add to his sack totals in this one.

Stat predictions for Carter - one solo tackle, 0.5 sacks
