We're expecting a 3-0 start to the Eagles' season. Period... Point blank... End of sentence...

By now, you've figured out that things move swiftly in the NFL, if you didn't know that already that is. It feels like the campaign just started. Every team already has two games in their rearview mirror. At the time this story was published, the San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants had finished their third. The Philadelphia Eagles, after playing the first game of Week 2, play in one of the final two games of Week 3. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Despite some inconsistent play early, the Eagles already have two wins on the ledger, and despite there being so much discussion about a stagnant offense and some underwhelming performances, Philly averages just under 30 points per contest (29.5 to be exact). Their defense is forcing turnovers that have led directly to points.

The Bucs are the next speed bump in their journey. Tampa is 2-0. They welcome the Birds to Raymond James Stadium for a football game on September 25th.
