The Eagles have relatively easy decisions to make about Marcus Mariota and Quez Watkins.

We placed asterisks next to Marcus Mariota and Quez Watkins' names this offseason. Can Marcus Mariota win a game or two if Jalen Hurts is injured? Can Quez Watkins come up big when his number is called after shrinking in big spots last season?

The answer to the first question is no. The answer to the second question is no.

2. Marcus Mariota, quarterback

There's seemingly no nice way to put this. Marcus Mariota can't play.

We learned that when he was in Nashville with the Tennessee Titans. That point was driven home when he stunk it up with the Atlanta Falcons (and when he quit on them), yet somehow, there was this buzz when Philly landed him this offseason.

Don't act like you weren't among the number if you were. Trust us we have the receipts.

Tanner McKee may not be ready, but we trust him more than Mariota.

3. Quez Watkins, wide receiver

Quez Watkins... What can we say about him that we haven't already? Yes, he's fast. No, we don't trust him in big moments. There's this anxious feeling we have whenever the ball is thrown in his direction.

Quez is the lone receiver remaining of the three Philly drafted in 2020. He was also the third the Eagles selected, but his lone admirable trait has not helped him excel, and this is the final year of his rookie deal.
