We can't promise things will be perfect, but we can promise you'll never join a better family.

All aboard! We realize that, for whatever reason, you might be a casual NFL fan. You may also be one of about six die-hards who haven't assigned yourself any team loyalty yet. If any of this applies, you are cordially invited to RSVP for the ride of a lifetime! The Philadelphia Eagles need YOU! Stop looking around... Yes, we mean you.

We won't stop with the wandering fans or impratial crowds. This train is ready for boarding, and we welcome new fans, old fans, and yes, even those of you who are on the bandwagon.

We realize the term 'bandwagon' has an irresponsible stigma attached. Here's why you'll find a home here. Once you sign up and the blood's hue turns green, jersey swapping will end. That is one thing we can assure you.

Here are five reasons to sign up for the 2024 Eagles bandwagon (and to remain long after this year's ride concludes).

Established in 1933, 'The Birds', as we affectionately call them, have played this great game for over nine decades. They have won four championships. Three preceded the NFL merger. They are the owners of one Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Their fans... Well... They can be a bit much, but we offer the sincerest promise. They are among the most loyal, passionate, and intriguing people you will ever see.

If you're thinking seriously now about joining the ranks, here's why we can assure you'll never regret the decision.

Fantastic leadership

While it hasn't always been this way (shout out to Norman Braman), Eagles fans have been spoiled these past 30 years with one of the greatest runs in this franchise's history. Since Jeffrey Lurie bought this team on May 6th, 1994, things have never been better.

Philly's vice president/general manager, Howie Roseman is the best in pro football at his job. You'll never find two men who work harder to make their fans happy.

Trust us on this. There are a ton of NFL franchises (and fan bases) that WISH they had a 'Jeffrey Lurie' and 'Howie Roseman'.

Top-tier media coverage

Have you ever been to some of these cities where football isn't as important? Try being in Charlotte and/or Jacksonville. Let's just say it can be difficult to find avenues to hear about or read up on your favorite football team.

You're never short of info (and hot takes) on the Philadelphia Eagles. You won't struggle to find written or visual entertainment. If you love learning about ball and reading about ball, there aren't many media markets that rival the one that covers our Birds.

A winning tradition (sort of)

The Eagles won NFL Championships to close the 1948, 1949, and 1960 seasons. The 1960 Eagles team is the only one to beat Vince Lombardi's Green Bay Packers in a playoff game.

Since the NFL merger of the 60s, things haven't always gone as we would like. Philly has appeared in four Super Bowls. Three appearances came under Jeffrey Lurie's watch.

Their lone Super Bowl win came on February 4, 2018. Sure, we have experienced heartbreak. We have seen three straight NFC Championship Game losses among other things, and we can promise you that you will experience heartache too.

You can do a lot worse than being an Eagles fan though. 12 teams have yet to win a Super Bowl, and if you ask the Minnesota Vikings, L.A. Chargers, or Detroit Lions, we can promise you they'd trade their history for Philly's in a second.

Declining rivals

Who knows why anyone would want to be a New York Giants, Washington Commanders, or Dallas Cowboys fan, but if you are considering doing so, here's some free advice. Don't do it! The future looks bright for our Birds while their rivals are poorly run and experiencing tailspins with no end in sight.

We take that back. The Washington Commanders might be on the road to better days, but this comes on the heels of an era where Daniel Snyder was the owner. Anything looks good after Daniel Snyder.

The NFC East is home to maniacal owners, like the one in Dallas. There are once-proud franchises who let their fans down constantly (and don't seem to give a damn that they're doing so).

The Commanders, Cowboys, and Giants may own more Super Bowl rings, but only the Good Lord in Heaven knows when they will win another. With Jeffrey and Howie, there's a feeling that the window is always open.

One of the best fan bases in all of sports

Cowboys fans are delusional. They believe their team is America's favorite. They always also seem the to be the last people to know that they won't reach the Super Bowl (or an NFC Championship Game).

Giants and Commanders fans are depressing to be around. Then, there are Birds fans. You'll never find better. You can only find a few who are just as loyal and passionate (shout out to the Raiders and Steelers).

Try hanging out at an Eagles tailgate the next time you are in Philly (or anywhere in the country where Birds fans have gathered). While there's nothing like experiencing an Eagles game, an Eagles tailgate almost makes you feel as if you don't want to leave to attend one.

We again welcome you to the Eagles' wagon if you haven't yet boarded. Seats are filling up fast, but don't worry! We can always make room for one more passenger.
