5 Super Bowl free agents the Eagles should consider signing, and one wild card

The 49ers and Chiefs have stocked their cupboards with former Eagles before. Might Philly raid their rosters this offseason?

As bad as that last month or so was, Philadelphia Eagles fans have a lot to look forward to moving forward. Some of you may disagree with that, but things could be a lot worse. Look at the Washington Commanders. That alone should make you feel better.

The Commanders haven't been able to generate any consistent positive traction for decades. They have a new ownership group, but they have a long way to go before being considered one of the NFL's best. Meanwhile, the Birds brass can already lay claim to being such.

Philly has a lot to be thankful for, unlike so many NFL teams. They have found their franchise quarterback. They have two respected coordinators. Their coach, Nick Sirianni, has led them to the playoffs in each of his first three seasons. There are a lot of organizations that would love to say the same, but that doesn't mean there aren't areas to grow

That doesn't mean that Philly can't improve. As a matter of fact, they'll have plenty of opportunities to, especially during free agency. If you were watching the Super Bowl, you probably did some shopping like we did. The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs might lose some talent this offseason. There are a few guys we think will look good in an Eagles jersey. Most of which appear to be on one side of the ball.

Javon Kinlaw, defensive tackle, San Francisco 49ers

Last offseason, the Eagles lost their best interior defensive lineman to the Niners. Turnabout is fair play, we wouldn't have any issue with Philly raiding San Fran's roster for one of theirs. Javon Kinlaw fits our bill.

It would seem the Eagles are well-stocked along the interior of their defensive line with Jalen Carter, Milton Williams, Jordan Davis, Moro Ojomo, and Fletcher Cox (maybe). Still, if we haven't learned anything else about Howie Roseman and company, it's this.

Regardless of how many good interior defensive linemen they have and regardless of whether or not there are other needs, the Birds are always in the market to add another.

Write Kinlaw's name down. Pay attention if the 49ers move on. Write the following names down as well.
