6 Eagles who should play more in Week 3 versus Buccaneers, four who should play less

Ten Eagles take center stage in this conversation, six who should play more and four we can see less often.

There are three more Eagles we'd like to see on the field more in Week 3.

We're just getting started. Here are a few more Eagles we'd like to see on the field more.

3. Nolan Smith, EDGE/linebacker

Unless Nolan Smith is still dealing with the effects of his preseason injury, which may not be the case if he's played 43% of the special teams snaps this season, we see no reason for him to have logged 13 snaps on defense.

He's a first-rounder. Let him work, unless of course, again, he's still working his way back to 100% healthy after that injury.

4. Haason Reddick, EDGE/linebacker

Haason Reddick logged 39 snaps in Week 2. That could be related to some physical issues he has had to deal with. That was also 67% of Philly's total in the most recent game, so maybe that isn't much to be concerned about.

Still, if Nolan Smith isn't playing much and if Philly experiences any issues with generating a pass rush on the edge, we'd all love to see more of Reddick, not less of him.

5. Sydney Brown, safety

We're all fans of Sydney Brown. He may not be a polished product yet, but we like what we're seeing. If he improves his coverage skills and tightens up a few more areas, he could be special.

Then again, in order for him to do so, he'll need to get on the field and have his coaches allow him to, shall we say, 'sink or swim'. He saw 37 special teams snaps which was 64% of the overall total in Week 2, but he also saw four defensive snaps (3%). We'd love to see him get more than that.
