What is the solution?

Unlike most teams with some offensive struggles, the Eagles have the benefit of being undefeated. This allows them to have some wiggle room in working out the kinks and getting their offense rolling for the rest of the season.

The question then becomes, how do the Eagles solve their issues? While they all will not be fixed immediately, Philadelphia should utilize a game plan similar to the one they executed against Minnesota.

Lean heavily on a skilled rushing attack and a dominant offensive line. Bully the opposing defensive line and force the defense to commit more defenders to the ground attack. Hit the big passing plays as a result of the strong rushing attack.

The formula is not fool-proof, as it requires Johnson to be consistent in committing to a smash-mouth identity for the time being. Yet, the Eagles have the talent to dominate in this fashion, and as the offense works through their issues, a heavy rushing attack will help alleviate the questions currently surrounding the offense.
